1004 by TAEMIN

Artist: TAEMIN

Genre: Pop

Length: 3:06

During an interview on the Zach Sang Show, Taemin explained that he is Catholic and his baptismal name is Francesco. Francesco’s Saint day is October 4th. He also explained that in Korean, 1004 is pronounced ‘chon-sa’ (천사), which is a homophone of the English word ‘angel’ (천사). These meanings make the song very special. However, Taemin expressed that this song is not a typical love song; there is a twist, as he wrote it from someone else’s perspective.

1004 lyrics

Saw the way you dance
I was hypnotized
Had me out my mind
Was fallin til we fell through
Still I'll never understand
How our secrets lives
Turned to lonely nights
There's nothin' I can do
Replayin' our movie
Now we're outta focus
You don't even know it
I didn't know what I was losin'
The second we said our goodbyes
You're movin' on while I'm stuck in our memory
In our memory, yea
Countin' up the times that you said you were meant for me
You're still meant for me
Hold on
One thousand four
Angel in my rear view
I was near you once before
One thousand four
Hold on
Wishin' you the best
If it isn't me
Like I hoped to be
Is there any way to get back to you
Layin' on my chest
Like a distant dream
It was heavenly
I just want to be next to you
Replayin' our movie
Now we're outta focus
You don't even know it
I didn't know what I was losin'
The second we said our goodbyes
You're movin' on while I'm stuck in our memory
In our memory, yea
Countin' up the times that you said you were meant for me
You're still meant for me
Hold on
One thousand four
Angel in my rear view
I was near you once before
One thousand four
Hold on
One thousand four
Angel in my rear view
I was near you once before
One thousand four
Hold on
