Genre: Pop

Length: 3:08

(Hetakuso, Inadequate) is one of the songs included in the EP, Gift, a compilation of songs from the anime franchise of Given. The song feels entirely new from what we’ve heard before now that the vocalist Mafuyu Satō has dealt with his feelings of grief for his deceased boyfriend by the end of the series. After finding love again, in “Hetakuso,” Mafuyu speaks about his inability to openly express himself in conversation. That’s why he’s thinking out loud through this song.
